Your adventure begins in Kathmandu, the bustling capital city steeped in history. After settling into your hotel, you'll dive into the heart of Nepalese culture by visiting iconic sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu complex on the banks of the Bagmati River; Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and a center of Tibetan culture; and Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

The journey continues to Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled beside the tranquil Phewa Lake and gateway to the Annapurna range. Here, you'll experience the serene beauty of the lake and visit the Tal Barahi Temple, a two-story pagoda based on an island in the lake.

From Pokhara, you'll fly to Jomsom, entering the mystical Mustang region. This area, once part of the independent kingdom of Lo, offers a glimpse into traditional Tibetan culture. After acclimatizing to the altitude, you'll proceed to Muktinath, a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. The Muktinath Temple complex, with its eternal flame and 108 water spouts, is a highlight, as are the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Arrival in Kathmandu

This itinerary outlines the first day of a trip to Kathmandu, Nepal.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll transfer to your hotel to check in and settle in.

The day then focuses on exploring some of Kathmandu's most renowned religious sites.

You'll visit the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the imposing Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath, and conclude with Swayambhunath Stupa—affectionately known as the Monkey Temple due to its resident monkeys. These sites offer a rich introduction to Nepal's cultural and spiritual heritage.

After this cultural immersion, you'll return to your hotel in Kathmandu for the night, ready to rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Kathmandu to Pokhara

This itinerary details your journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Nepal's picturesque lakeside city.

You have the option to either embark on a scenic 6–7-hour drive covering approximately 200 kilometers, or take a quick 25-minute flight, depending on your preference for time or scenery.

Our representative will meet you at your hotel after breakfast, and then you'll proceed to Pokhara on your preferred mode of transport.

Upon arriving in Pokhara, you'll check into your hotel and freshen up.

The evening is dedicated to a relaxed exploration of the city's crown jewel, Phewa Lake.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along its shores, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and the potential for stunning views of the Annapurna range.

Pokhara to Jomsom

Your journey begins early in the morning with a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, after which our representative will assist you in beginning your drive toward Jomsom.

You will travel along the scenic Pokhara–Beni–Tatopani route, witnessing lush hills, rivers, and rural villages as the landscape gradually changes from green valleys to arid highlands.

Enjoy short stops along the way for refreshments and photography, with lunch en route at a local roadside restaurant.

As you continue past Kalopani and Marpha, you'll begin to feel the dramatic shift in terrain as you approach the trans-Himalayan region.

After approximately 8–10 hours of driving, you will reach the town of Jomsom, located in the Mustang district along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River.

Upon arrival, you'll focus on acclimatizing to the higher altitude, taking time to rest and adjust to the mountain environment.
