You will arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time.

This will allow ample time for the balloon preparation, which typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes.

Arriving early ensures a smooth and timely departure, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience without any rush.

Launch Site

The site is nestled in the scenic Chankhapur area of Pokhara, located just 5 kilometers or a 20-minute drive from the vibrant lakeside.

Its close proximity to several tranquil lakes enhances its accessibility, allowing visitors to easily enjoy both the natural beauty and the peaceful atmosphere of the region.

From this vantage point, you can marvel at stunning panoramic views of the majestic mountain ranges, including Fishtail, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Pre Flight Briefing

Before the flight, Balloon Nepal provides a thorough briefing on essential safety protocols, the flight route, and the operation of the hot air balloon.

The pilot gives clear and detailed instructions on proper behavior during the flight, takeoff and landing procedures, and safety measures to follow throughout the journey.

Meanwhile, the dedicated ground crew performs a meticulous inspection of the balloon, ensuring all equipment is in perfect working condition.

Once all safety checks are complete, you will board the balloon, and with final preparations done, the balloon gracefully ascends into the skies above Pokhara.

Landing and Pack Up
