The valley is predominantly inhabited by the indigenous Tibetan ethnic group known as the Dolpa people, who have maintained their traditional way of life for centuries. Itinerary

Arrive at Juphal Airport. Trek to Dunai, the administrative headquarters of Dolpa District. Explore the charming village and acclimatize to the altitude.

Trek through lush forests and terraced fields. Cross the suspension bridge over the Bheri River. Reach the picturesque village of Chhepka, nestled amidst the mountains.

Hike along the banks of the Barbung Khola River. Pass through traditional Tibetan villages and encounter the local culture. Arrive at the Amchi Hospital, a renowned traditional Tibetan medicine center.

Trek through rugged terrain with stunning mountain vistas. Reach the breathtakingly beautiful Phoksundo Lake, renowned for its turquoise waters and surrounding cliffs. Explore the shores of the lake and visit the nearby monastery of Ringmo.

Hike back through the picturesque village of Ringmo. Descend to Juphal, passing through forests and meadows. Conclude the trek with a memorable flight from Juphal Airport, taking in the magnificent views of the Himalayas.
